The White Oak seventh grade Ladynecks ‘A’ team took care of business last night as they defeated the Arp Lady Tigers, in two games, 25-9, 25-16.

Addison Clinkscales dominated at the service line with 11 serves and contributed to the team total of 32. Clinkscales also got on the stat board with two hits out of the overall 11 from the team.

“We did pretty good,” Clinkscales said. “We got a little sloppy at the end but I think we fixed it pretty quickly.”

Addie Young, libero, had a great night at the service line and added a dig.The Ladynecks overall had three digs, with Jessica Lowery and Rilee Bowden adding the other two .

Ladynecks Coach, Joey Bohn, said the team as a whole has already come very far. In the beginning of the season they had a shaky start but the girls have prevailed and come out strong.

“We played well,” Bohn said. “The team had a few times where we played a little sloppy but we corrected it and came out on top.”

The Ladynecks are currently 6-0 and will play their last game of the season on Monday Oct. 22, against the Lady Bears on the road in Gladewater. Game time is 5:00 p.m.
