The White Oak Roughnecks headed  home with a 18-0 win over Tatum.

“We won but we need to block better on the line, and be more aggressive,” Caden Tyner said.

Dyllon Heist started the scoring with a rushing touchdown for 89 yards. Landyn Grant added two touchdown passes for 130 yards, with  one going to Kirkland Cobb for a five yard score, and Noah Carter for a 55 yard touchdown reception.

“I can’t get overly confident,” Grant said. “I can’t let the moment over take me, I have to take it a moment at a time. I have to take it play by play so nothing will stop me.”

Offensively for the ‘Necks, standouts included Caleb Scott and Caden Tyner, and on defense Jesse Pratt had an interception. Heist recovered a fumble, Grant forced a fumble, and Corbyn Fryant recovered a fumble.

Other defensive standouts included Holden Hodges and Gavyn Jones.
