Over the past week, the Pre-AP Reading class has worked on posters for “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck.

A gallery walk took place on October 2 to show off the class created posters and students explained what they liked or learned about each project.

“I was surprised by the outcome of this project, especially what the students came up with for ideas.” eighth grade reading teacher Kim Iske said.

The requirements of this project included having to choose one of 10 topics and then explain about the topic through colors and art.

“I was expecting to have a really colorful poster, everyone did really well in my opinion,” eighth grader Emma Raney said.

The posters are displayed outside of Mrs. Ike’s room and will be available for viewing for several weeks.
